They bought the property and set it up so that when they were not there it could be rented out to guests who wanted to come up to Alaska to fish and enjoy the beauty. In 2013 they built another building that is a garage for boats in winter and a guest house for the fishing season which includes the fish processing room. Also in 2013 Lloyd was able to reorganize the family construction business in Washington so that he could be away enough to become a full time resident of Alaska and still have time to travel to several other states every year to hunt and vacation.
